Where do I need to be located?

Farmers must be within 100 miles of Sedalia, Missouri, or Green Forest, Arkansas.

How long does it take to raise pullets?

Pullets are typically raised from the day they’re hatched until 15-16 weeks of age before transitioning to a laying farm.

What kind of support does Vital Farms provide?

We provide hands-on guidance, veterinary support, and a close-knit community to help you succeed.

What are the day-to-day requirements of a Vital Farms pullet farmer?

Being a Vital Farms farmer means meeting the means meeting the highest standards for animal welfare and egg quality. You’ll be in the barn multiple times a day, continuously monitoring conditions and collecting detailed documentation to ensure an optimal environment for bird health and wellbeing. Our dedicated Farmer Support team will work alongside you to provide ongoing guidance and recommendations for continuous improvements.
